WanderWalter - the GPS navigation system and the digital hiking guidebook
Our new digital service is concealed behind the name "WanderWalter" (Hiking Walter). Under the buttons "Activities" and "Routes" you can research many headings and display the results with text and map.
WanderWalter is a simple little guy ...
First of all, you have to load the 3 files on your PC. Then you operate the WanderWalter player directly on the PC. During the next synchronisation it installs WanderWalter on the pocket PC. Now you only have to copy the map file and the info file on your pocket PC's memory card. When starting WanderWalter the next time 'he' will ask you where the card data are located. The action can start after you have indicated the way to your memory card under "Path" and clicked on OK.
WanderWalter download files
Naturally you can also download our WanderWalter on the pocket PC. With the player, the map file and the information your pocket computer thus becomes a GPD-controlled travel guide through the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park and the Kraichgau region.
WanderWalter has a small pack ...
You can also take all search, research and map information with you along the way. Load the 3 following files on your pocket PC free of charge and WanderWalter will guide you interactively and GPD-controlled through the attractions of a wonderful landscape.
You need it to portray maps and information on your pocket PC.
(Wanderwalter requires a pocket PC with the operating system WindowsCE, from Version 3.0)
A one-time download and the topographical scale 1:50,000 from the Landesvermessungsamt (State Topographical Survey Office) Baden-Württemberg accompanies you on your journey.
The info file is small and fine. It includes all routes and point information. Since it is updated daily, we recommend a regular update of this page.
