The natural return of "slowness":
By foot and bicycle between the Rhine and Neckar
You do not need "seven-mile" boots if you want to explore Baden-Württemberg by foot and bicycle: Because both are right next to each other in the Kraichgau-Stromberg region. No matter whether you go "village hopping" in the saddle or set out on one of the thematic hiking trails, you will repeatedly cross the invisible borders: Baden and Swabia, Franconia and Electoral Palatinate… And while doing so you will encounter secret tips and highlights: A pilgrimage church here, a baroque castle there, a famous monastery or an enigmatic "cult mountain"…
At the same time, you do not need to go to your own physical limits, because the "Land of 1,000 Hills" is gentle - a veritable hiking paradise: The wine, forest and meadow countryside between the Rhine and Neckar, Black Forest and Odin's Forest is fertile, sunny and hospitable - just like a paradise!
You will enjoy sincere hospitality everywhere: With culinary delights in pubs and taverns, with visual pleasures featuring lots of art and culture. The soul can also air-out in the vineyards and colourful forests, in a nature park, at nature lakes and on fruit orchard meadows… And sometimes the tours lead right into the midst of the Middle Ages: Then history becomes truly present here.
Discover one of Germany's most beautiful hiking paradises - the "Gentle Land of 1,000 Hills"!
