Information on the Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourism Association
- Formation in 1993 through the merger of the former tourism associations Stromberg and Kraichgau into the Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourism Association
- Office: Melanchthonstraße 3, Bretten, Karlsruhe district
- Demarcation of the area: Boundary lines Kraichgau, Stromberg, Heuchelberg and Zabergäu, situated between the motorways 5/6 and 8/81
- The 50 towns and communities united in the Stromberg Tourism Association are proportionately located in the following districts: Karlsruhe, Enz, Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg und Rhein-Neckar
- Neighbouring tourism associations: Schwarzwald-Tourismus, TG Baden-Elsass-Pfalz (PAMINA), TG Kurpfalz, TG Odenwald, Hohenlohe-Schwäbisch Hall Tourismus, Region Stuttgart
- Authority for Kraichgau-Stromberg Wine Road (established in 1995)
- Since 2000: Intensified tourism work through the merger of member communities in the destination area agencies: The "Neckar-Zaber Tourism" for the communities Brackenheim, Cleebronn, Güglingen, Lauffen/Neckar, Neckarwestheim, Nordheim, Pfaffenhofen and Zaberfeld; the "3B Tourism Team" for the towns Besigheim, Bietigheim-Bissingen and Bönnigheim; the "Fruit & Wine Quartet" (Erligheim, Kirchheim am Neckar, Löchgau & Walheim am Neckar); the "Spring Region" (Epfenbach, Helmstadt-Bargen, Neckarbischofsheim, Neidenstein, Reichartshausen & Waibstadt); as well as the "Kraichgauer Wellness Land" for Bad Schönborn, Kraichtal, Östringen and Ubstadt-Weiher.
- 2002: Renaming into the Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourism Association in accordance with the 'trend resolution' by the German Tourism Association.
